A little repurposed art project I was working on over the weekend 🌊🏄♀️This was the fin from my first ever paddle board, it was one of those inflatable ones and I loved it until it exploded in the sun one day from being too old 😅 I’ve always wanted to experiment more with repurposing things and this was the perfect thing. Earlier this year I took a much needed mommy scape to visit my sisters in El Salvador and my oldest sister, my niece and I went to this awesome book store looking for some Spanish books and when my sister came across this one she told me I couldn’t pass this lifetime without reading this book and now that I’ve read it, I agree with her! @gapinedaa

Lean into Gratitude
Inspired by my art design, on my blog I share a few simple ideas to:
-Bring a gratitude practice into action
-A little bit of my journey through anxiety and depression and how this practice changed my life.
-And a little science-backed research on gratitude.
A gratitude practice not only makes us happier and healthier but builds resilience and keeps life in perspective.
I can say, with confidence, that I can find strength and joy again and again when I LEAN INTO GRATITUDE. The easiest way is to notice the present moment, like breathing, walking, or having our loved ones with us but if we make this a practice, it can become a beautiful tool for life.
Gratitude is one of the highest vibrational frequencies, as Dr. Wayne Dyer and other amazing authors suggest.
To me, it feels like a protective, beautiful shield that strengthens us to face life’s challenges. It’s a magical energy that reminds us of what’s truly important.

I had this book saved on my Amazon list for a couple of years bc I love this author and he had mentioned his children books, than one day I randomly found it for $1 at a thrift shop I decided to stop by last minute! I’m at lack of words to express a ton here today so I’m going let my art speak for itself as I feel it was preparing me for this day… I can only focus on what I can control and lean into my art today to make sense of the things I can’t express or make sense for myself. It feels scary and complicated to share with my words and my art because I fully respect whatever your believes are in life and this election as it does not define us.
