Giving back and Creating with Purpose - My Purposeful Dreamer Art and Teaching Journey
Karina HinesShare
Learning to create this Purposeful dreamer journey for me has meant doing things that feel right for me, I can’t say its always easy, but definitely fun AND Purposeful!
Because I get to create this business while giving back with my passions!
Here is a recap of what I call my Purposeful Dreamer Art over the last 5 years...
Thank you to everyone who has supported me and all the fun creative ideas we've had to give back. You continue to give me the love and support I need to keep going.
My first event was this fun idea I had to create an Art Trash contest at this Ocean conservation event, I partnered with the Space Coast Surfrider Foundation here in our community to create a fun competition and prizes were given to the top three artists of the contest, check out my instagram posts about this event here to learn more.
I also created our at home Art Spanish art camp with my son and some of his friends and I’ve volunteered at various art events :)
In 2023, we held an art auction to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society with my dear friend Marah who was inspired to reach out for us to collaborate for this event in memory of his dad who lost his battle to Leukemia :(
You can see the post all about this fun Art Fund raising event through instagram here.

As former HR professional one of my favorite things was when I got to teach, I never called myself an art teacher as art is something I have learned on my own my whole life but I know in my heart how special it has been when I’d had the opportunity to teach kids art making this such a unique and exciting opportunity for me.
When my friend and Artist, Kasey Klein shared this opportunity, all I remember hearing was: nature, kids, and art—and I was already there!
It is 2025, and the most special and perfect Purposeful Dreamer adventure came to my life.
I am so excited to lead this fun class! We will have an awesome time while supporting this special non-profit that provides a safe haven for horses and animals in need in our community.
I absolutely LOVE the time I’ve gotten to spend at the Happiness Horse ranch. The beautiful learning pavilion is such an inspiring space to create, surrounded by the natural beauty of the farm and the soothing presence of the animals. Learn more about their events and the farm here.
Our first class was a huge success and an amazing opportunity to see how everyone’s unique expressions of their horse painting came to life. It was so fun to watch the kids learn basic acrylic painting techniques while adding their own creative touches.
